I recently got this awesome book about Mucha - by Sarah Mucha. It's worth getting. It has so much - his decorative panels, posters, interiors, sketches for jewellery and furniture. He even designed stamps and banknotes, released in 1919.
His photography and his pencil sketches give you such an insight into the way he worked...
This last one is about right - pretty much how cold I am feeling right now.
I love you Britain but will you warm up now please??
I love that his work features beautiful, healthy, young women.
And I wish I had equally long, flowing robes...
Pictures all from Google images.
"The name of Alphonse Mucha is inextricably linked with the evolution of Art Nouveau."
